I have a B.A. in voice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and studied acting in the adult conservatory at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa.
My improv education includes the IFA program at The Second City Training Center in Las Vegas. I spent five silly years with the Las Vegas Improvisation Players, and played with the Orange County-based troupe, TriBycle.
A passionate advocate for public broadcasting, I began as a station volunteer at Vegas PBS, and eventually became their Volunteer Coordinator. I later moved to California to work for KOCE-TV, now known as PBS SoCal.
I'm also a strong supporter of arts education initiatives and Native causes and artistic projects. In the past I served as President of the South Orange County School of the Arts Foundation, protecting and promoting arts education in the community.
With a love for acting on stage as well as the microphone, I spent twelve years with the Las Vegas Black Gospel Theatre. I used my event management, fundraising and artistic experience to co-found Andi Jones Music and Productions, a nonprofit music and theater company that performs in Los Angeles and Orange County.
I’m very happily living here in SoCal with my husband, two grown kids who have made their own careers in the entertainment industry, and an adorable rescue mutt who stole our hearts (and still steals my paper towels).
